PECW (Positive Essex Comment of the Week): yay! No more window units! Nor the bugs that sneak in around the purple duct tape!

One of the reasons I bought this house was because it had forced air for heating. Therefore, I knew upgrading it to central air would be easy.

Jay Mechanical (https://www.jaymechanical.com/) was awesome. Friendly, straightforward, showed up on time, wore masks the whole time. Quoted the job in a socially distant way, based on pictures. Honored the quote — and offered to let us of the project — when unexpectedly I was out of breakers, and we had to re-do the whole electrical system.

(Fixed by a Winooski biz who I recommend, but this is a PECW. :-))
